Fiduciary Standards are the key differentiation between brokers/financial advisors and Financial Coaches. We all need to stress this important advantage to our clients. The Fiduciary Standard does require a much greater responsibility for education of our clients and care for their interests, than the Suitability Standard. Neglect, therefore, is not acceptable.

    Mark,

First of all free markets work and are the most powerful economic tool!

Is there a way from a financial incentive perspective that a coach is not tempted to sellout to a client trying to market time compared with an advisor or a broker? If not a person can only judge by the advisors/brokers/coaches actions and it may be too late at that point.

Mark…great topic and I like the shorter time frame on a specific topic for us to pass on to all of our clients.

First exposure to your website today. Nicely done. If advisors, coaches and brokers would all practice the golden rule of giving advice (Do NO Harm To the Client), we would have no need for over-reaching reforms being pushed out of Washington. A good discussion…kudos.
